Just a quick heads up - I was just in the REI in Saratoga, CA and saw the Ortovox D3 beacons on sale for $179ea. I didn't see the deal online, so it could be hit or miss in different REI stores. A good deal though if you can find it.

That is a nice beacon and a very good price. If you are in the market for a new beacon, I would jump on this.
