I am selling a pair of Fitwell Backcountry boots - Size : 270 - 41.5 - US size 8 (just inquired the US sizing from the north american fit well dealer).
Selling for $400
These have been used only one time on an ice climb in the Alps that required a snowboard ride in and out. They even still have that new boot smell and are in perfect condition. They are the newer model with the strap on top. http://www.fitwellsrl.it/en/collezioni/ ... COUNTRY~23
The boots were just too small for me unfortunately. I had no idea that they were I size 8 US, I had to go off a guess from advice the European dealer gave me. I usually wear a size 9 snowboard boot (going for a very snug fit), 8.5 for my Vans Cirros. I decided that instead of selling them in europe where they are much more easily attainable, I'd bring them back to the States (SLC) and sell them to one of you guys. They worked great for ice climbing, but were just too small and thus painful for me to snowboard down with.
As I am sure has been mentioned in previous posts here, these are $600 boots (see here http://fitwellboots.com/product/backcountry/) (which I did indeed pay and then bring back with me to the US), so I think $400 is a fair deal after only one day use.
Here are some photos of the boots in their current condition:
Finally, I can tell you just by holding these in my hands and the one day use that these are some seriously durable boots. Total mountaineering boot build, but fit to snowboard with. Plus my BD cyborg clip crampons fit on them super well as with pretty much any other heel clip crampons. The shape and build of them is so much better than the spark boots, especially for semi-automatic crampons. Here is a photo of the one time I used them on an alpine ice and mixed climb in chamonix this march:

I had no issues whatsoever when climbing. They worked great.
Send me a PM if you are interested. I am in SLC, but can ship them as well.
