Is the liner a glove or a mitt? Also, are the shells lined (and not huge) so they can be worn without the liner in temperate weather?

Alpha SV Mitt Liners

The inner fleece liner is a hi-loft Polartec® Wind Pro® textile with high wind resistance, low stretch, exceptional warmth and breathability to keep working hands dry in cold environments. Removable liners are easy care: remove them for drying; machine wash to reduce odour.

The liner is shaped like a traditional mitten allowing the fingers to sit directly next to each other for maximum warmth.

The Alpha SV mitten requires the liner for insulation purposes, the shell is made entirely out of Gore-Tex Pro Shell fabric and Lezanova leather reinforcements.
