Didn't think it would happen, but even a small guy like me can bust a pair of old Iggies. Looking into getting the current pair welded up, but in the meantime & for peace of mind on the hunt for a 1st gen pair of Ignition Is or just the baseplates. Not interested in Ignition IIs, almost all of my spare parts are for Ignition Is. For those that don't know the difference, Ignition Is had the Bent Metal Missionary highback (2 piece), heel cup & straps (mounted with nylock nuts & bolts), while the Ignition IIs had the Bent Metal Restraint highjack (1 piece), heel cup & straps (mounted with t-nuts & bolts). Can't really afford new Blazes or Burners at the moment.

Right where the toe straps mount on that bend that forms the side rail of the binding. On inspecting the other side as well as the other binding I can see similar cracks starting to form, though none have torn back to the same degree (about an inch & half). It's a pretty tight radius bend, tighter than the Bent Metal Missionary's so it doesn't surprise me. Just a reminder to keep on top of inspecting your equipment before any mission, due diligence and all that.
