A possible chance of pow Sat night/Sunday, but it doesn't look good. Most likely dust on crust.

We never got a rain event, but it has been warm up there all week, with lows below freezing. Which would be fine for touring, except that we have a 36" base. We need that jet stream to drop down and nuke us with wind/powder.

We have a good base up out of bend now. Been back and forth between really cold and too warm. Yesterday and today should have been great days, but i wasn't able to make it up so i can't offer firsthand feedback. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the upper 30s, and the next few days too. Things will probably be getting pretty heavy and/or crusty.

I'm wondering how paulina is shaping up. I rode the NE face once last year and would like to get back and do a little more.
