Starting this thread for posting stoke and conditions in Oregon this spring. Feel free to contribute what ever.
Got back to the P-town today. I spent the last few days checking out the Elkhorns on my way home. Tuesday was particularly good. Fresh snow, good stability, and sunshine.
Drew booting up the "notch". He measured the upper section at 57 degrees.
Shredded.
Line #2. Lee's couloir.
Yes, it was awesome.
Lot's more lines to be had in the Elkhorn's.
We didn't see another soul in 3 days of touring. The snowpack around Anthony Lakes felt pretty solid, seemed to me that winter concerns are mostly gone. Obviously always possible in isolated locations though. I am headed back out that direction next week, hoping to score some more april pow!
