Hands down one of the best December's in can remember in Central Oregon. It just keeps dumping and staying very cold. Of course we have the wind so factor in some wind affect, but overall deep pow filling in. We just hit 100" base and it's snowing in town.
Not a lot of instabilities but that rain layer is down there. On it's way to getting totally buried but should be monitored and not forgotten. They just started grooming the main stuff so snowmo access should be getting better. Before that it was balls deep and full throttle.
Holy crap it's so good out there. I was out yesterday and found nothing even remotely scary in the snowpack. This is the most incredible snow I've ever partaken in Oregon. That and only 3 skiers in that zone (I set the track for thems cunts). Forget about it; chopped as promised.
