Seems prettty sketch right now Split.Therapy....five feet of new snow on rain crust and rotten, a death at the Village inbounds yesterday, and still snowing today. I cannot remember seeing EXTREME avalanche danger forecasted before.
Hit Wimpy's with Romeo the week before and we were hitting pockets with some scarey whumphing. Togwotee did not receive as much snow, but it received the same Nov. layers and really hasn't stopped snowing. Just a matter of time until it catches up to conditions in the Tetons.

Another 10" last night. Pretty scary. I haven't been out since Tuesday. I don't ever recall an EXTREME rating either. People were still lining up in the parking lot on the Pass. I can't decide if they're "Plato's Sheep" or "Nothing bad can happen" types? Probably both? I'm snowshoe hare hunting on slowshoes with the dog. It's a good workout Be Safe
