Nearly 100% of our snowpack is isothermic :cry:

.Any plans anyone has about big Teton peaks need to be thought out carefully.It is supposed to snow/rain for next 2 days w/ significant accumulation/precipitation. It is ugly here. :evil:

Our 100% isothermic snow pack melted and refroze, solid as a rock. It is April and we finally have a base. If you were planning on hitting the Teton's come and get it.Powder on north facing.

10" at 10,000' No April Fools involved. About 16" in last 3-4 days. It is about time. We have a base and we are getting snow. :shock:

BE AWARE. If you or anyone you know is coming here for spring peaks riding, we had our first grizzly mauling of the season. A man in Tetonia,ID.(near Grand Targhee) was attacked in his backyard. He went out to shut his dog up and the dog was being chased by the bear. The bear turned and attacked the man. He had grooves in his skull from the bears teeth. :shock:

So don't forget bear spray. :idea:

Howdy All, Well there's snow in them thar hills. We are getting our first layers of the white stuff above 8'000 ft Summer lasts just too dang long :lol:

Boot deep snow on Teton Pass this morning. Took the dogs for a walk. Had to wear gaiters over my mountaineering boots. Let's see what happens,(fingers crossed) where is this going to go? Chris

Was out at the gee today, it was pretty sweet above 9000' and we were able to ride to the bottom at 8000'. The next system looked big so lets all pray

Unofficial report of 8-10 in. in the mountains for this morning. 3-7 in. with 50 mph. winds for valley floor for Tuesday. Starting after 11:00 p.m. Mon. night. Fingers are crossed. :wink:

6" of new on top of 6". Total depth -22" at 10,000 ft.- 16" base at 8,000 ft. North facing sitting on ice. All other aspects on bare ground.
Finger crossed for more soon.
