Would anyone else be down for a SW-MT splitfest of the sort? meet up somewhere and shred for a day or two? maybe camp? i know hyalite opens in two weeks.. p-valley might be a good spot? couldnt get to CO or WA this year..

I like camping. If a spot with terrain that suited everyone's interest level can be found I'd join. I'm not into icy 40 degree bootpacks but more prefer 30 degree trees.

Bobby- Yeah we were up there yesterday. Where'd you ride? Folks were crushing it up in beehive basin yesterday. Some group of skiers laid down like 6 runs each on the W ridge of beehive while we were up there.

Alex- We cruised straight up beehive and ascended 4th of July. Getting back is trickier. Shoot me a PM and I can spray the full beta at you. Also, I could be interested in a SW MT splitfest if the timing is right and people are into it.

the time is now.. we still have deep bases from the big belts to the lionheads.. all we have to do is decide on location, then dates.. or vise versa.

Looks like a sweet zone Nick....ample big line potential for people with larger balls than I.

Speaking of, that has to be one of the biggest rollerballs I've ever seen. Assuming that is a rollerball? Glad yall had a good weekend.

I'm down for a meetup if it happens soon, I leave town for the summer this weekend and I'm trying to get out riding one last time.

I see a nice big gray cloud over the bridgers right now, anyone want to try a tour in the north on Friday?

Megalon snowball of doom for sure. Maybe a piece of collapsed cornice? Look at the track it made!

Please tell me that y'all took advantage of May powder (please upload photos). I've been sick but mustered some strength to Bridger for couple runs. worth hitting the pause on Battlestar Gallatica for sure.

what's the road conditions now, I assumed you assessed from Big Timber side? Last time I checked I could only drive to Lazy K, and I wasn't sure if the ranch owner's cool with me parking on their property.

Normally you can park beyond the gate where the 1st drift is. They've been doing some logging in there so you can go almost a mile further towards the campground. Yesterday was super lucky with 4" down low made it skinnable all the way up. Fun exit out too. Usually up to 1st bridge this time of year it can be carry/skin/carry/skin. Creamy dense powder that was perfect for old snow/new snow bonding & made it up to 10,500 in the crazy couloir.....top turns were low vis but no worries.
