Sorry! I can't... 13-15th are spent doing trail works and then 21-22nd are spent at a trail care seminar... Biking season is starting... My next w-e free would be the one after that.. 28-29th...
woke up to 3" new and snow falling steady at mt hunger at 1800'. lull in precip right now but looking at another good shot of snow tonight, forecasting 8-12" along ridgelines possible by thurs eve in n. greens. winter storm warning in effect for eastern slopes.
call in sick, wax up and hit the bc, stowe, smuggs or jay on thursday. should be good everywhere.
I was up to tucks on sunday with a beautiful day. I rod ethe lip 3 times since other areas were a dicy bootpack up with soft boots. upper snowfields are weak as heck but there are stilla few lines to be had up there. i walked down from the ravine to hojos to skip the littlehead wall and its massive hole. Heading up to jay for a day or two, hopefully we'll spot some of you guys up there.

today was great. 10" new snow was dry and bonded well to old snow surface. can't believe almost a foot of dry goods in early april. hit it w/ 2 friends, could be one of our last powder days this season.

I went riding to Jay today (friday) and there was some deep stuff all over the place and it was totally uncrowded. Wow! What a feeling being back on the board!
If anyone is intersted in a tour around Jay area and Northern Vermont, let me know!
things look GOOD for the next 8-10 days with a SIGNIFICANT PRECIP EVENT for late wed and thursday this week w/ below normal temps all week. most models currently suggesting snow.

Hmmm. Sunday River was nice yesterday, A LOT of stuff open for early April, and only one or two dirt holes open that I saw on the whole mt. Right, enough thread-jacking, perhaps I will have to head to vt next weekend...
