I figured it was about time somebody started this years thread. Check you a few photos from a quick lap at Stowe yesterday morning. Crazy how much snow they lost from last weekend. Thankfully, they are blowing tons of new snow! http://bit.ly/CYPdustcrust

Hopefully we get some real snow soon, sounds like a few inches this weekend. Been skinning man made at Smuggs for last couple weeks. The bottom of Sterling wasn't groomed out at 4pm today, but I may be up in the am hoping they groomed the whales out. Sunday morning could be fun before the chair starts to spin.

Chewed up the legs doing laps on smugglers alley this morning. face shots in ten inches of fresh on bullet proof manmade. Best November snow I've ever ridden.

Yup! This morning was pretty awesome. Chin Clip at Stowe was stacked with snow. Way more than anywhere else on the mountain. I'll have a few quick clips up on www.checkyourpins.com later this evening!

Awesome! Definitely one of the better Nov. pow days I can remember. Was that at Smuggs? I posted this in the TR section, but here is a quick video I shot at Stowe on Friday.

There is a guy from colchester demoing grass roots powsurfts up on Madonna today! Hopefully this sw flow gets out of town quick...Going to take the day off for christmas stuff...Hopefully there are still good turns to be had! I would say Madonna is the place to be if you don't mind some core shots...and probably some traffic.

Yes smuggs, we put the skin track in on shuttle on Friday. 3rd pic is fis before it got raped. Did Fis from catwalk and then lower docs. Super lowtide still, but fun if you were careful. At this point I don't think there is much left on Madonna to ride. If you go for it I would be careful, would suck to get injured this early in season, we lost a lot of snow also. And I heard the traffic was crazy after Sterling Lift broke... As for Doc's you probably made the right choice by just hitting the lower section, much lower angle and less stumps etc to hit.
Headed to the sierras on Wed, but hopefully some large storms move into VT soon, so there is a legitimate base when I get back.
be safe all and pray for snow.
Nice footage from Stowe. They always have good light, but I prefer the darkside...
Here is another pic from lower down on FIS.. As you can see it was bony and that was Friday.

Does anyone on here live in or around Mad River Valley? Just moved to the valley at the end of last winter and would love to hook up with some people and discover the good spots around here once it turns into winter. I know many of the places for splitting north of here but would like to explore closer to home. I can do runs from my back door which is pretty sweet.
