At about 10pm it was puking at Parley's Summit. Tomorrow should be a good day in the Wasatch above 9,000 ft.

DP'd Alta yesterday (10-18-07) and saw Baldy slide big (October-big, that is) - Wind loading on "old" snow, pehaps. Some say skier triggered from the uptrack. Looked like main slid too. Lower shoulder sloughed rather easily but was ridden safely with cold smoke a flyin' 8)

Lots of wind in store today and tomorrow; will be paying extra attention to high elevation north through east facing. Some models are projecting decent snow totals but there's still some spread concerning timing. Should be nice.
