It just dumped again in the San Juans. We are in Durango and all the passes were closed today, so it was out to the La Platas for a long skin in. We found about 30" of fresh snow on a east facing tree run just north east of Parrott Peak. Heard a few whomps and could easily get blocks to slides in a small pit. May take a few days to set up. Just thought I would share.

Hell yes we were puked on, and it was friggen cold! -25 in Silverton Sat morning. I rode the Silverton lift Sat. It was good out there. Was out on Chatanooga Sunday. Saw a bunch of splitters on the drive, tons of people getting after it on Anvil. I didnt' know there were so many splitters out here. Felt like splitters > Skiers. Were you out there Sunday?
I'm hoping this avy danger drops more for next weekend, maybe poke into some bigger stuff.
I'm currently running low on partners for the weekend, if you feel like getting out, shoot me a PM. I'm in Durango too. 24, decent shape, avy trained, etc.
