There are a number of nice looking deep gullies/couloirs on the N Face of Mt. Lincoln-the most notable of which takes a direct line for the summit, with almost 3,000' of vertical. Unfortunately, when ABP and I skinned in there this morning, these lines had virtually no snow in them and were unrideable. The N Face of Democrat, up the same valley, looks good still, but we did not get an early enough start to travel the additional 2.5 miles up the valley to the base of that face. Let's hope the the two approaching systems really slam the CO mountains!

From what I've heard, that section of the Mosquitos holds the least snow of all the 14ers. If the snow is going to be anywhere, its on that N Face of Democrat that you mentioned.
I hope you guys have better luck next time. I'll be expecting a report
