Is Fallen Leaf Lake Rd open?

Thinking of doing Angora Peak tomorrow. Anyone know if the Fallen Leaf Lake Road is open through to, say, the fire station?

Not yet. You may need to head up Tahoe Mountain Road and skin up Angora Lakes Road

Sorry I missed this D. What part of Angora did you hit? Most folks park at Winton unless they have a key to the gate at Fallen Leaf Rd.

Never made it that way after all. Headed back to Carson Pass and hit Red Lake Peak and the unnamed peak across the meadow. Tough going trying to find decent snow.
