That is just scary looking. Almost February and nothing rideable at Tahoe. Here's to a miracle March and a strong February.

Yeah I guess it depends on what your definition of ridable is. It's like early fall/ late spring conditions. It takes a little extra effort, getting your boots dirtier, and snow that's not great. It's still snowboarding though and snowboarding is better than no snowboarding and better than whatever else is on the agenda.

Yeah the patch has some snow, tough to get out there, it's far.

I was up at Heavenly last weekend doesn't look like much in the basin. Maybe Cathedral...it's mostly S, SE facing though I think.

I'm so glad your "the Patch" has snow. Both our "Patches" are toast.

nice, things are looking up. Rode on the west shore yesterday, took an east facing line to try to avoid boulders and deadfall on the more northern facing stuff. Worked like a charm, bottomless blower with only one minor rock scrape, though I refrained from going full throttle. In lieu of bashing rocks and logs, I was rewarded with a not-so-pleasant shwackfest to get to the road. At one point I considered just giving up and waiting for more snow to fall before proceeding, but my sandwich was in my truck. Another foot down low and it's party time :disco:

After this weekends storm, conditions sound like they will be spectacular.
