You may have seen this elsewhere, but this footage is pretty cool of a big rockfall/avalanche that occurred on the Nisqually Glacier on Mt Rainier on 6/25....

What's interesting is that there have been three separate snow/rockfall events in the past few days. In this video, you can see the debris from an earlier flow as the mass of snow and ice passes it by...

great video. seen it here first, but it was on the news this am.

Also interesting side note...

that route seen skis for the first time, several times, this past season... maybe the mountain is pissed off for having it's slopes sullied.
