the photos are a little bit of the south chilcotin, the rockies, pemberton, salmon arm, and the slocan.
Right on, I did a trip with Dale @ Tyax, float plane up into the Chilcotins a few years ago, epic riding for sure. So many places to ride, so little time...

In the random freeride stoke department, here's a vid I ran across recently. From norcal somewhere, but it's gone now. Pretty awesome building/riding. Would have been cool to see in person.

Well, still not snowing here in Santa Cruz. A bunch of sb.com peeps met up for some local riding last weekend (Ecobrad, SanFrantastico, wavy and his gf Katie, JC, BCMex, myself, and a couple "just mtn biker" buddies. Here are a few pics.
In da hood:
Redwood roundabout:
Good day to be out!
SF sacks up and hits a jump.
The recent rains mean good conditions for building

Katie said she had a good time, even though we took her on steep chutes, and made her cross stuff like this:
I asked, "so do you hate us now"? And she said, "hate is a little too strong... maybe just a strong dislike!"
Whos that Hippie dude? Seems like his hair would get caught in the spokes. His safety gear should include a hair net
Don't you mean flying hippie, motherf*cker? Sadly the top of my head was cut off in that shot. If you could see how gloriously my hair was flowing in that wind at those august heights you wouldn't even think about follicular restraint aka a hair net.

Hell yeah! See what split boarders will do for each other... Now I just need to get my Nomad rolling, put on the battle armor and have you return the favor.
Nice to meet everyone out there. Had a blast. Look forward to the next ride - snow or dirt...
Nice to meet you JC, and it was fun riding with the whole crew back there. That roundabout was really funny... 9 of us kept going around in a circle and some random couple pedaled up and joined in. JC really helped me out by coaching me down a chute that was making my ass pucker. It really helped with my progression a lot. Thanks! Speaking of ass-puckering...
Here's Mark:
And of course if it's dangerous Jim can't pass it up:
Jim also helped my progression by suggesting that I session this little double. That look on my face is a combination of intense concentration, blind panic, and perhaps lingering ball pain.

What Jim didn't tell you is that little stick circle is actually a time vortex. You time traveled and those people who joined you weren't out on the same day at all. How you made it back, is a secret that stays in Santa Cruz. The advantage of time travel though is less crowded trails - except for the day you picked because that couple showed up.

Happy to help a brother out. You made it look easy!
