June Mt. sounds like Stevens Pass last year (or was that the year before last? - open 40 days total and closed early). From what I can tell this paltry season is fairly widespread across the west (CO excluded).
From what I understand it's pretty meager North to South in Cali.
I just keep praying for our somewhat predictable late winter early spring dumpage - Ullr!!!!!!! I pray to you.
Shasta is looking a little brown for this time of year. That said I had a fine time last Saturday: rode off Green Butte into Powder Bowl, nice cap'n crunchy corn, not quite creamy but fun none the less. I did have to ollie a rock or two but no harm, no foul.
I was kicking myself Sunday as I had a bunch of honey do's lined up when the local network called at 10 to rally for another dose of cap'n crunch. Felt better later when I got the beta that it never softened like the day before cause of the wind.
The ski park can't last much longer on this meager diet. I'm getting a little tired of the snow dance, its turning into a dance-a-thon.
