When are you splitting them? I have a Magne Traction board I need to split as well.

Ooh, how does that Magna Traction board ride - good on the ice/firm?

Still no substantial snow around here. Looks like I'm gonna miss out on November again this year. :(

Yeah - I'm interested in hearing whether the Magna Traction lives up to the hype, too. Maybe a review someday??

Meanwhile, here's the 10-day forecast...

Can I go back to complaining?

I'm here on this sunny Friday to BITCH on this thread.

I guess I could go to Shasta/Lassen, to scratch the itch, but I can't miss Primus in Berkeley on Saturday.
:P

Seeing as I can't ski - at least for the first part of this winter - I have ordered a late start to the season. Sorry.
But it does look like my prediction of the first two weeks in Dec. might come true...

I am planning on doing some touring for the first part of this winter however. You got any Tue/Wed's free powderjunkie? The CCSP needs to regroup and tour/ski some virgin terrain this winter.

That's a can do Jib. I'll be able to get some mid-week days off.

Can you climb with that gimp leg?

Can you drink with that gimp leg?

 Skinning and hiking is fine. Maybe some nice long tours to check out some new terrain before the TH's get snowed in.
If we can hook up with jibC and his snowmachine, anything is possible. Those 30+ miles of access roads are no problem with his global warming machine. The more we use it, the closer we are to the next ice age!

As far as the drinking goes, I've had lots of couch time to build up my tolerance.

I was planning on visiting my old college roommate in Tahoe sometime in march. Is it even going to be worth coming or should I just stick tight in MT?

Hard to say what's going to happen between now and March. With a few good storms you'd be ok. If your trip was within the next few weeks I'd say stick to MT.
