I'm a patient guy, but come on. WTF???

I don't expect much. Maybe just a hint of a winter. Something on the horizon. An indication that maybe by the holidays there will be something to slide on.

Let it all out. You'll feel much better. :?

I actually thought about starting the same thread myself. Only I would have titled it something along the lines of "AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGG - THUMP -THUMP - THUMP." The thumps are me pounding my head on the desk after again seeing NOTHING in the 10-day forcast. I may have to do an emergency road trip if this keeps up.

Damn, that does suck. I'd be making some virgin sacrificies to the snow gods right about now.So none of you guys have got a day in yet? I'd be flippin out right now if i hadn't. I feel bad,i've had 9days so far and one of the funnest-faceshot wednesday's of all time. But no snow in the forecast,i think. Anybody know any virgins?

Yeah, this kind of blows. But, as far as the forecast is concerned, I guess it depends who you ask. This one looks a little promising:
http://www.snowforecast.com/californiaf ... kwood.html

Last year these guys were way more accurate than NOAA or weather.com... hopefully they have it right again this time.

I'll be in S Lake Thurs - Sun. and may take a hike around Carson Pass whether it's rideable or not, I'll post some pictures if there's anything to see :)

Yeah that sucks. I have 8 days so far and 7 bonifide pow days.

I think the lack of snow in California is my fault. Last year when I came out to visit the pods for xmas it was pretty dry in the Sierra's. It started snowing for real after I left.

I am coming out again for Xmas, sorry guys...

Sierra's are in California aren't they? Good luck finding sacrificial material there...
besides, if i remember correctly from last year, you guys were having a gloatfest about all the early snow you had, while i was getting heart palpitations from the lack of snow around here. Out of consideration to your plight, I won't talk about my five days so far ( insignificant as it is next to splitfire's time )
gary

What are you guys bitchin' about? I understand Boreal is open. You could go split up their runs and slide some rails on the way down, on 12" of man made junk.

It's more than I've got here...

I can feel it building, way out there, Ullr is just waiting to unload. (Gotta be positive). The only consolation I have is the fact that my board shipment has been set back a few weeks and if it did dump now, I'd have to use snowshoes. I don't know which would hurt more. At least I'll be heading through UT & CO next week. If I make it back from that trip without scoring some freshies, I'll be losing it for sure.
P.S. Is there some way to ban those CO guys from this thread? Do we gloat when it's dumped 10 feet in a week, only to see the storm fall apart on its way east and dust your moguls with four inches? Oh, yeah, we do. Never mind.
