Sonora Pass still closed. Tioga still closed. On Sunday they had the road plowed close to Ellery Lake. I think they are hoping to open the road to the park from the east by Memorial Day. It will be a lot longer before it's open all the way through the park.

Yep,I knew that. I'm looking for some fortune teller whose going to tell me when either one is going to go through from the west. That's when I'm 2-2.5 hrs from the promise land.

I dunno, what are you doing?
We never did do a rally this season. :(
Although, if it's a repeat of last season for me I'll be taking donations for tires before I get there.

Not sure….right now the options are:

1. Go with a small group to somewhere far and high, maybe the Palisades or Evolution regions.
2. Go somewhere closer like Saddlebag, Sonora, VA Lakes, etc with a large group like last year.

Both options sound good to me. :)

Let's start throwing ideas out there. 8)

ohhh Palisades! That would be bad.

I never made it to "the bag" last season either so I'm down to run.

see what you can pull off as far as getting out and let's do it!

I'm guessing that Sonora and Tioga are dependent on road opening.

Your sled thingies could help too. They could definitely be used on the Saddlebag road to shuttle people and gear in. They could also be used at Sonora pretty well.

Chance of rain/snow this weekend. I'll believe it when I see it.
