Just found out that a friend of mine, who was a balls to the wall skier, died near Mount Baker yesterday. He was an excellent skier, really good person and will be missed. http://news.bellinghamherald.com/apps/p ... /1001/NEWS

Sorry to hear about your buddy. This year has been tragic in more ways than one. In the immortal words of IRON MAIDEN, only the good die young, only evil seems to live for ever. Hang in there and learn from the mistakes of others. RIP.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and his family. Its wrong to die at 25, but I guess you can say he was living life and not just walking through it like so many others. Do you have any riding pics of your friend ? post them

Yes, that was him. He did super well at the Kirkwood comp (12th) and got the sick-bird award for the weekend. He recieve the sick-bird belt buckle and wore it like a badge of honor. If you could place in the top 20 in that contest, you officially rip.

Now he'll be on every mountain... RIP. (That 'R' is for Ride, by the way).
