Just a question. I have a new 160 khyber splitter (yeah!) and I stood it aside of my 161 Rome anthem. I thought that there would be a huge difference to the design of the two. The nose, I thought, would be alot wider, but its not really (1.5 cm maybe). Not that different, I was surprised. Anyone? ...Bueller, ...Bueller?
Fyi the Rome is a freeride/freestyle board- the sweet ride.

Yeah, slightly larger nose / smaller tail make quite a difference. I have a Mallolo with similar specs and its great in pow/chop and turns on a dime in the trees.
bvt, where did you get your Khyber? I've been drooling over them for the last month but have not found a great deal yet. I'm this close to driving up to Whistler and picking one up from the factory...

My girlfriend bought it direct from the Prior factory. I had called ahead and they told me what they had left and how to go about ordering it online (top sheet and base color) so I would get the one in stock. When I called it was a couple of weeks ago; they had 2. They're probably out now. I know backcountry.net had some recently but I think they are all out of 160's maybe some 165's left. Give them a call they are pretty nice over the phone, seems like a small shop where they just put the phone down and go out onto the rack to see what they have left.

Yeah I visited the factory a few weeks ago and demoed a K-split (I'm now hooked). Definitly a small, friendly shop. I'll need a 165 (they have several in stock), but I'm jonesing for the white topo topsheet.
I'll probably drive up and pick one up in the next week!
