I have the hardest time when I am going from skinning to riding again mode. I have a really difficult time in realigning the plates so that I can lock my bindings down to ride again.
Does anybody else have this issue??
I went out today and had to walk down, after spending about 30 minutes ( it was getting dark) out there trying to align the deck.
As far as the binding stuff itself. I just give it a spray of WD 40 every once in a while to keep the parts moving and I haven't had any furthur problems with them sticking up.
As far as the boards performance. I love it on any terrain. But it is the sweetest in big open bowls!
Shouldn't take anywhere near 30 minutes. Pull the bindings and skins. Clean the snow from the hooks and interfaces and slap them together, should take 5 minutes total, less with practice. If your really struggling something is amiss.

New Burton S168 w/ Voile setup is sic, just rode one in Tahoe, no problems just Phat Smiles. The old Burt interface was... junk but I don't think you should be taking so long. we need more info.

You know when you have to go back from skinning to riding.
My problem is the circular hardware that houses where the bindings are to be locked back down on top of... doesn't line up.
So I can't get my bindings back on.
I am right now try to readjust those freakin circles so they line up perfectly.
I don't understand how I haven't changed or adjusted the hardware, it can go from working ok to not at all?????
