 Post subject: Crush rivets suck

Finished up the new skin modification last night. Everything worked perfect until I used the crush rivets to put in the tail clip. I even folded over the end of the skin for maximum thickness. The rivets still bottomed out and broke through, barely even hit em that hard. I'm planning on shopping around today and getting some stronger rivets, but I don't really want to buy a rivet gun just for 6 rivets. Any ideas?

sorry, I don't know what "crush rivets" are ... but the pic shows what I used. without any problems and for several things.
