HI..I was hoping someone could direct me to where I could find a Burton S-Series. My search is seeming hopeless as they are impossible to find in mid-season. I am looking for my boyfriend who just moved out to Montana's BIG Mountain and discovered the backcountry life. Now he is on a quest to find a split board. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Break up with that BC newbie and start dating someone that already owns a splitboard!

Just kidding.

Rather than hunting down a Burton split and then going to Voile and buying the Voile hardware, skins, and other stuff. I would recommend contacting Bently at Never Summer, Prior, or Voile and just buy from them and do one stop shopping. The NS splits are the bees knees, and custom built to your specs for the same price as a Burton split with all the fixins. Always check ebay too, and the classifieds here at splitboard.com. I recommend that newbies buy used or split an old board and get a split kit, if they like it, go for the gusto and get a new factory split.

Hi Jberg..

I have an earlier post looking for help finding a burton split as well. I have searched a hundred websites and called a hundred shops. I think we are outta luck. Lotsa demand, nada supply.

I'll drop you a line if I find anything though. Good luck...

note, this is the 04/05 burton, so burton hardware (not voile)

Finally, I can use the 3 years of German class back in high school for reading something besides beer labels! :D

Thanks for the link Raul!
