stance width & angles

wanting to split (Prior ATV or Voile stiffy), but can I maintain my stance width of 41 cm and angles 55/50, I have got accustomed to with my hardboots on my old asymetrical Santa Cruz? :roll:

probably not... you wouldn't be anywhere near the edges.

You'll definitely be able to run steeper angles with the ATV, though. It's 2 centimeters skinnier in the waist.

Are you thinking that with that narrow of a stance width, that you'll be over the heel lifters or touring brackets.

Or are you concerned about the board being too wide for those high angles.

Fish, you can probably use 50/45 on that board w/o feeling the need to retrain your self, maybe a little less if you have small boots.

1.That is what Prior SB is concerned about when presumably making me a custom 161 ATV split.

Could anyone measure up the distance between the inner inserts and also give me the measurement the touring setup takes for a 27 AT boot?

so what is your experience in lowering riding angles, how does it influence your riding?

Lower angles work "ok" for me, but only in powder...however, they don't even come close to the feeling of higher angles.

That's why I'm going for a board with a maximum width of 24.2cm... and, no it's not a board that is available, on the market.. it's a custom job. There is s possibility that Donek will be selling them (or any of their shapes) as splits next year... assuming they get enough interest.

big top, tiny waist and a nice curvy tail
something like 28/21/27
could be the succesfull formula !
