Just registered online for the derby in the split division. I guess I better start practicing my transitions. Hope to see some of you there.

yes, I'll be there. freakin' line was huge for registration today, I was trying to get a practice run in, but hells no, had to come back to work

From what I hear, the split competition is like a Chinese Uphill. You might be better off just sprinting with your board intact.

Also, small approach skis work great on a groomed resort up track, not so much when breaking trail in deep snow in the backcountry...
