Hey folks I am from southern alberta and most of my BC use takes place in waterton park...have been snowboarding there since '89 I believe.

Anyways with the road perhaps not being ready for this season (most likely it will...but better safe than sorry) I am wondering if anyone can help me with some good options that may exist in the crowsnest pass area.

thanks all...not too long now!!

For the most part I almost always found it worth the little bit of extra driving west. Less wind and more snow only 40 more km. sometimes though a west slope drop tons of snow on the other side. Had some great days touring off castle. Allison creek east of sparwood accesses some good terrain. But you would want a snowmobile to get in. If you have a snowmobile pm me and I'll let you know of some more spots I used to go when I lived there.
