We actually had a little inversion here in the Heber Valley, like nothing I've seen in my 4 short years here, but nothing compared to SLC. It was plain gross down there the past few weeks...
ya it sucked here in Sandy but the inversion turned to bluebird @ 6k (1,500 above my house). The days I had touring during the inversion were amazing. Nothing but a base layer and a beacon up top, softshell no base for bottom. And Julbos were key.
two weeks into the inversion, this did not suck!
btw if you want a detailed and personalized, yet professional Wasatch weather update check it out here
dude is a local shredder that isn't afraid to describe long term trend potential and probability. He's like your local network news guy if he actually gave a fuck about his job and was interested in how the snowpack progresses. Nothing better!
