Hey all! My name's Liz Daley as some of you may or may not know, I've developed splitboard programs for American Alpine Institute out of Bellingham, Wa. There are four different courses that I'm trying to get filled. Introduction to Splitboarding, a super basic intro to splitboarding and backcountry shredding. If you want to get out and explore Mt. Intermediate Splitboarding, a 2 day course exploring the Mt. Baker side-country. This course is for people who have splitboarded before but would like a guide in a new or unfamiliar zone. Offered this Dec/Jan and April 2013.

You should get in touch with all the shops in the region (Oregon too)...I'm sure you already are. I was in U.S Outdoor (Portland, OR) a few hours ago and saw a girl drop a bunch of money on a new Jones Women's Solution set up. She was super stoked on getting into it, but asking a ton of questions and obviously brand new to any backcountry travel. I bet a poster would have gotten her to sign up today.
