I've ridden Taos quite a bit over the last 3 years and there are a lot of boarders around. I've gotten more dirty looks for my 7 year old son (on skis) blazing past these old douchebags than for being on a board.

Taos even has a patroller who rides a snowboard. I can't remember his name, but they call him the "boarder patrol."
