This is me, june 2012 at greenstone cirque. It was wet heavy snow and I keep doing this during springtime riding. please tell me what you think Im doing wrong. I (luckily) came out with a small puncture wound that wouldnt stop bleeding and a very sore pride

Stiff knee. Board begins to chatter & slips out underneath. Best thing I ever started doing was crank the hell out of the forward lean....forces the knees to flex.
That & age. There's a slower response rate from mental inputs to reaction - truth. Terrible when you used-to-could. Why do you think pro atheletes can't cut it after 40. Sorry dude. Like my father in law always says - "This getting old stuff isn't for sissies"
WHat size boots do you wear? What angles are you riding? What kind of forward lean are you rocking.
Looks like you lost your heal edge and could not regain it. You needed to stop fighting it, bend your knees, and allow the board to get back under you so you could stand up and ride. But I wasn't there. I hate that feeling, been there, done that.
