Can't find a better photo, sorry. Anyone recognise the topsheet? I'm hoping it's not from a year Voile had the same design for each length. The guy who found this board for my gf to use reckons it was either a 158 or a 161. Any ideas?
I'm about to buy a Salomon Powder Snake to split for her, but I'm umming and ahhing about whether to get her the 160 or the 156.
I know she's ridden a 158 Rome Anthem on Fernie hardpack and liked it, and she's spent 6 days touring on this one (on std binders and plates), so it'd be very useful, if only for her piece of mind, to know what length she was touring on.
I'm minded to go for the the 160, as it's quite a mellow flex, and if you take the pointy ends off (which don't really add much except for looks), it's probably a 158 anyway. Take 2 cms off the 156, and it's only 2cms longer than the one she's already decided is too short!
It's rockered, so we're really back to the "go a bit longer for extra float for the same manoeuvreability, or go shorter for more manoeuvreability with the same float?" question. She's around 145-150lbs, pretty good when she's confident.
Not expecting any real answers to this one, as it's a judgement call, and I know more about her than you lot! just giving you the back story behind the ID request! Although please wade in if you've got any thoughts...
Cheers!
Reminder: there was a point! What length is this? The board, not the ski!

I may be mistaken, but it looks like an OLD Split Decision to me, which I seriously doubt is rockered - rocker is a relatively new phenomenon. Have the guy get out a tape measure to check the length for you.

Thanks, you're right, it's old SD and definitely non rockered!
Buddy doesn't have the board any more, so can't measure. I want to know the length of this so I can make a better decision about buying the next board, which is rockered.
