This awesome self portrait from ZClanton's recent trip report...
...and the revival of this BGnight classic... ...reminded me of how much I love this obscure artform known as the photographic self-portrait.
My favorites are the ones documenting some desperate moment of private agony. This is me folding up after a few hours of trying to chase down Scruffy on Mt. Tom. Nope, never caught him.
^^ Nice! That's what I'm talking about! Here's another classic that I just dug out of piles and piles of verbiage. If you recognize it, you'll appreciate the effort that went into finding it, and also resizing it down from gigantic!!

this one isn't splitboard related, but it is a classic. My buddy Darin and I were down in the Gunnsion Gorge doing some fishing and we decided to take a self timer photo. well i'm a fucktard and couldn't figure out how to get more than three seconds until the exposure. as you can see in the below photo, my 40 yard dash wasn't fast enough and it looks like I have a peg leg. this shit was really funny after camping for days in a canyon.

Winna----all time classic. Not only is that a freaky self portrait, it was the only picture in his trip report. I miss Mumby more than OCD!!
