im thinkin of going, how does the split race work? im faster than everyone in the entire world but i have to duct tape my skins on.

Splitboard goes like this.....

Start at bottom.
1 2 3 go!
Initiate splitboard goat rodeo.
Hike to the top.
Transition and ride down.

Duct tape skins on? Hope you can rip them fast

Length? Depends where Josh tells you to start. :headbang:

Like Tap said... it's up to Josh... and it changes each year.

I recommend you use a whole role of duct-tape... maybe colored at that. Don't forget your lycra speed suit either. It makes you faster... really. Also a pack. We are not skiers and riding down with poles in your hands is a no-go.

Gerry Lopez takes the Older/Wiser (50+) division.

splitboard finals were sweet. Ryland Bell , Adam Haynes, Ralph Backstrom...in that order.

It was only about 50 feet. Just a way to thin it out to avoid pile ups in the first downhill, I believe, and space things out for getting into the berms on the second lap down...

One of the more entertaining 'contests' I've attended/rode/seen. Thanks for the shots, Tap!
