Like Tap said... it's up to Josh... and it changes each year.
I recommend you use a whole role of duct-tape... maybe colored at that. Don't forget your lycra speed suit either. It makes you faster... really. Also a pack. We are not skiers and riding down with poles in your hands is a no-go.
contestants have to run up a slope, drop down the slope, disassemble their splitboards, split up the hill, then drop down the course.
why do they have to "run" up the hill first and not start off splitting i must be missing something.
It was only about 50 feet. Just a way to thin it out to avoid pile ups in the first downhill, I believe, and space things out for getting into the berms on the second lap down...
