June is getting late. It works great if it's a big season, but not so great otherwise. Going anytime after late april IS fishing season, and it's one of the things I tried to avoid for the convict party the past couple of years because lodging gets impacted.

But if everyone is going to camp then that doesn't matter. Where is everyone going to camp? That's an issue. I have a place to crash in June, so I wouldn't worry about it, but if the turnout is big, the camping could be a scene.

Glad someone's taking the lead on this Swanny. I'm burnt out.

What was wrong with the old set up at Convict lake in early April??? Seemed like a great central location and perfect time of year. Bishop areas and the Plateau are both an hour or less away with lots of other options in between. Not that I really care. I'm not big on splitfests personally but I thought the Convict Lake house with catering was a pretty good gig.
