hey i have been torn between what pack to get for backcountry day trips but i am pretty set on the arcteryx silo 30 just wondering if any of you have any feed back about it. i already have two other arcteryx bags and couldnt have better things to say about them. my other option was the black diamond outlaw avalung pack it too is a 30 liter pack.

would love to hear your feed back!

I have the Silo 30 and it is definitely top notch! The fabric is super tough and waterproof, and the zippers are also waterproof so you shouldn't have any trouble keeping your goods dry. It is also comfortable for me, I got the regular and I am around 5'10". Also, if you ever need to slap your board on your back, the arcteryx board wrap system is by far the best snowboard carrying system. It locks your board down and the rubber pieces protect the pack from damage. I personally had an BD covert avalung pack and it doesn't come close to touching the silo. If you are looking for the avalung just buy it seperately, That's what I am rocking.

well that about settles that, im gonna order it today! now the hardest part of all is choosing the colour lol
