Having read through most of the pack/hydration posts and I couldn't find what I'm looking for.

What I'm specifically looking for is some sort of hook at the top of the bladder sleeve (i.e. camelbak), Or a snug sleeve so the bladder doesn't slump, slosh, kink, or bounce around.

Packs that have other features I'm looking for are the latest BD and BCA, so they are the ones that interest me most in how they handle bladders. Of course if anyone is using the camelbak snow sports packs I'd like you opinion on there appeal for things like board carry, bc tool storage, etc..

Thanks in advance for your insights.

I know you said you were looking at specifically BD & BCA for packs. However, I may encourage you to check out Deuter as well. Deuter is the #2 brand in hydration and they incorperate their bladder attachment system into most of their packs. Deuter uses Source brand bladders that have a slot on the closure sleeve...http://www.deuterusa.com/products/produ ... ccessories
The slot is for hanging the bladder from a velcro tab on the top, inside of their packs. Their packs also combine this feature with a tensioned sleeve on the inside. This allows the bladder to behave exactly how you want it... no slump, slosh, kink or bounce!

Here's the three Deuter packs that I'd recommend. I'm going to use the Cruise30 this season, but I like the board harness better on the EH Edge & Freerider. Note: the Cruise30 can carry a board.

Cruise30... http://www.deuterusa.com/products/produ ... &tert=snow
EH Edge... http://www.deuterusa.com/products/produ ... e&tert=sig
Freerider 26... http://www.deuterusa.com/products/produ ... &tert=snow

Deuter's Tube Insulator is also a nice winter accessory... http://www.deuterusa.com/products/produ ... ccessories

Hey Yoda,
Thanks for the info. I have a Deuter Act Lite 50+10 for backpacking and its sweet.
Damn, it didn't occur to me that they might make their own bladders! (i.e, the velcro strap) :banghead:

Thanks for the info, these are definitely worth checking out. If nothing else I can get the correct bladder for the deuter I have.

Peace
