I ride an older Burton S 170 with the old Burton hardware and skins. I need new skins and it seems everyone recommends the Voile Tractor skins. Is that right? Will the tip clips on my board get in the way of that metal latch at the tip of the skin? Also, I like the fact that my old skins clip on at the tail of the board. It looks like the Tractors don't, does that matter? Thanks for the advice.

Bill, I cannot recall the web site, but there is a place that sells the burton skins with crampons in a kit. It was $165 for the set. At that price, unless you need the crampons, they are not worth the money. I have both burton's with the tail clip and voile tractor skins. Most who compare the two prefer the voile. I would agree with that as well. Like Ecobrad said, you won't need the tail attachment for the tractor skins. If you want a tail clip you can browse the DIY forum and likley find a modification that you could pull off. I like the clip of the burton too, but have not yet modified my tractor skins because they hold on quite nicely.
