hey all. just joined the forum, i'm trying to up my boarding game this season. i've actually been thinking about a 2-way radio purchase but haven't done the research yet. no need tho, haha. you guys did it all for me. thanks!

I have a Puxing 777, got it shipped to my door for under 100 bones off ebay. Fully programmable, you just gotta know the freq's you need.

Supposedly I can program FRS channels into it too, but I haven't bothered figuring that one out yet.

Not AA/AAA but battery life is excellent. I've left it on for 48+ hours straight and still been able to transmit.

I now have a HAM radio that works with the talkabout system so you can talk to your crew and then also call for emergency help if shit go's down. In my opinion, at least one person in your group should be carrying a HAM.
