There's not many companies building 65+ liter alpine/expedition grade packs that are capable of carrying a snowboard. I know some packs have the ability to rig a board, but I'm talking about a pack with a dedicated harness for carrying a board. These are the only models that I could find:

Osprey Exposure 66 (personal favorite)
Golite Quest 65
High Peak Quest 65
Mountainsmith Shavano 75 (personal favorite)
Jansport Whittaker LT 75
Jansport Whittaker LR 72
Jansport Whittaker LS 67

Can anyone add to this list? Current model packs only! (i.e. no Dana Designs). I've heard some of the Granite Gear packs can carry a board much like Osprey packs, but I couldn't confirm this.

I just ordered an Osprey Crescent for xmas from rei outlet:

All they have are XL 70 or 85 liters (perfect for me). I wouldnt call it a dedicated harness, but its pretty close to the exposure model. It doesnt look like they're making them anymore though??

There new line, the argon looks like it would carry a board fairly well though.

Another option Mountainsmith Phoenix

Volume from 70-90L. Yoda if you want to take a look I am located in Davis. Haven't used the Phoenix yet, but very impressed with the construction/features.

Hey guys

I think this thread might be dead... but I can say that the new Osprey Argon packs definitely carry a snowboard well..

I carried a super wide waist width board )like over 26cm or something) with my argon early this year. Iy has three straps to tighten the board down..

And yeah its not a dedicated snowboard harness, but it works just as well as my MEC gladerunner's dedictaed vertical harness. Besides the potential board attachments they are just an awesome pack too.. I got the 80? could be 85? I'm not sure Litre for extended trips and my girlfriend got the 70 because she fitted the mens better than the ladies - rowers shoulders hahaha

If anyone wants any more info on these bags let me know.
