I haven't tried it myself, but I don't know if it works or even exists. I am waiting for the to make Topo US for Mac. Right now I have to run windows to load maps into my GPS and then I use National Geographic Topo 4 for everything else (waypints, etc.) I think Topo 4 has better details and features the Garmin Topo but you can't loads maps with Topo 4.

I have tried connecting an older garmin gps with macs without success. I remember reading that Mapsource page at the time, but I couldn't get my mac to recognize the gps.
The whole gps, computerized topo software scene is pretty frustrating for me. I use TOPO which I am not very fond of (and have heard that its mac interface is worse than the pc interface).
