... Is awesome!
Sorry, but pictures are pending (my camera is at the hotel, my snowboard is at my boss's house). Anyway...
I've made some very sweet calf bite cushions out of this stuff... I bought some discs of self adhesive 1/4" thick neoprene foam sheets on ebay, and cut it up so that I have two layers touching the edge of the hiback and another layer around the edge of the hiback and around the other two layers. It's a wonderful material to work with (very easy to cut, including beveling the edges so that they don't snag), so I wholeheartedly recommend it as hacking material.
I don't know about durability, but the glue seems fairly strong so I'm optimistic. I will report at the end of march
