these seem like a good idea....i find the skins can be real tuff to get apart sometimes,,,,might preserve the glue a bit as well....any comments??? i guess a person could just buy some mesh and make it..

I do use them... Really easy for storage also, because after all summer sticked together, they do get pretty tacky! Even after only a few weeks... I fold them in 4 between rides but round them up for storage...
I haven't used them but several friends do and seem to like them. Don't know what they are made of exactly but its not window screen, different texture altogether.

Yup, my precut skins from BD that I got for Christmas came with these guys. I've never used skins without them, because when I've rented a Splitty in the past the skins were attached to them. Good stuff.

A word of caution for cheat sheets. Don't let the skins get to warm and pull the sheets off slowly. If you pull too fast after they have warmed up and sunk into the glue you can pull off the glue or pieces of the sheet will remain in the glue. Happened to my tele skins.
Storing with cheat sheets also makes it easier for dirt and dust to get inbetween the skins and will reduce the stickiness.
