Does anyone have a rec for a brand of sunblock that doesn't blind you when sweat pulls it into your eyes? I've tried a few diff brands but so far haven't found one that doesn't make me feel like I've been maced when I start to sweat. I'm growing weary of trying to ride blind...

I heard others rave about this brand as well.

sweat will sting whether it pulls sunscreen into your eyes..or if it's just sweat from your forehead.

i sweat like crazy. so, i wear a headband or skully. i like the halos.

the yellow strip actually works.

Banana boat - i'll put it on in the AM and play in the blazing sierra sun all day...a visor also works for keeping the sweat out and the sun.

I think the salt from sweat is indeed the main burn factor, but when you mix it with sunblock and it gets in your eyes it seems to stick there with more persistence.

Try a PABA free sunblock, I use anything from Neutrogena, they make a face specific one that is really good, and its not greasy and lasts long. Noncomedogenic also helps to keep your pores from clogging so your skin stays nice as well!

I've found bullfrog gel to be a great solution. I use it for climbing all the time. It's alcohol based so it evaporates immediately and doesn't mix in with your sweat so it eliminates the eye issue (which is why I use it). It also works really well. The one downside (and it's a biggie) is I'm told it contains chemicals that are bad for you. What was explained to me is it's kinda like putting deet on your skin for anti-bug stuff, you should limit how often you use it.

banana boat "Just for faces" sports sunblock has done me well. I use it for sunny winter days and beach volleyball tourney's and it's taken good care of me thus far. Usually takes quite a lot of sweeting and wiping to get rid of...

I am very impressed with this stuff. I use it mostly when surfing in warm tropical places it protects all day with only one application. Kind of nasty when it goes on - like the consistency of vaseline - but i have never been burned when wearing it. very waterproof!

used heavily in the backcountry last year during many many sunny days at high altitude and never got burned.

a little bit goes a long way. no eye burn factor. if it gets cold it doesnt go on well though, so warm it up before applying.

Wavy - Every try Burnout? I had problems with sunscreen and surfing and this stuff fixed it. I think you're a SC local - they sell it at O'neils on 41st ave. It comes in clear and cream - I like the clear better 'cause you don't have to rub it in much.

Coppertone Sport has worked best for me - I use it when kayaking, mt biking, rock climbing. . .

It doesn't feel greasy once dry and doesn't seem to run once sweaty.

I'll bet that sells well here in SC
