I got my copy of the New Couloir last week with the board review. I wasn't a fan of the hard good review. The board review was well done and exactly what I was looking for. Nice work guys!

At least you guys get to read Couloir . I havent put the check in the mail so Im looking all over for a copy. I found Surfer, surfing , boogieboarding, surfing in speedos and austraillian surfing life ....but no Couloir. Man living in a beach town sucks . Is ther an online version of the article or can someone tear the pages out from your local library so I too can read it?
My 2 cents about the boots.... I can only speak for AK riding.. For most of the lower 48 you can hike in t-shirt and shorts..
I also have tried a myriad of different solutions for board, boot, and binding. Since voile came out with the plate bindings, although the aluminium only last about 1/2 a season, I have found that the dynafit tlt boot climbs and rides very well for me.. and if you grab the front latch style... even better... no lost toes.. The 195/TLT's/and plate binding allow you the freedom to ride places few to none have ever had the pleasure of visiting....
