Is this for sale yet? The Google is giving me nothing useful. Anyone have any beta on it?

Pretty much exactly like the non ras but with metal buckles, and a crotch strap. Used mine twice and it seems really well made and functional. Haven't installed a bag in it yet. I have the regular 30L too and used it all last season with absolutely no issues other than snow buildup on the back material on a big wet snow day. Pretty light weight packs without the bag, obviously will beore with it but I bet it's lighter than a lot of airbag packs out there.

I'm not sure how you're using the Google. . . $300 and free shipping - WindwardBoardshop
*edit* I am pretty sure that does NOT come with the RAS airbag kit. You gotta buy that separately.

Would rather buy the Mammut PAS or Snowpulse Lifebag models, for their airbag shape that will mechanically protect your head and neck when being washed down with an avalanche.

Yea those are nice. I tried on the mammut and really liked it. The pack has everything I want. I was just curious why I haven't seen a jones in a store and really nowhere online... Manufacturing problems?

Checked out the 30L non RAS at local shop, RAS is the same except for addition of the removable airbag system. Looks like a great splitboard pack, seems well made and features a couple of ways to carry a splitboard. I like that there is a back access panel and waist belt pockets. I mention these things because I have the Mammut Ride RAS and it is a good board pack also. But the Mammut doesn't have the waist belt pockets or back access. With the nature of the RAS pack, it isn't as easy to keep things you need most at the top because the airbag is there. So it seems like it would be nice to be able to keep snacks etc in the pockets, and get into the middle of the pack easier.

Good report thanks. I liked the new Mammut PAS because it has those features, hip belt pouches and the back access. Those are key for sure.

Well now that I actually have the RAS I am back looking for the Jones 30l pack. Did I miss the boat? If anyone on here has one I'll buy it off you for significantly less than retail  cough.brodeal.cough

I guess they didn't make many and I really didn't want to pay USD$299+shipping+duties.

Here's what Jones customer service says

"Thanks for your email and interest in Jones Snowboards. Unfortunately we the distributors are out of stock so I cannot help you arrange for one to be ordered. I also do not have access to our dealers inventory so I cannot point you in the correct direction. Sorry I cannot be of better help.

Good luck!
